My 8 month old just started daycare and I need to send her with lunch each day. Is it normal to bleed heavily five weeks after birth, even though it virtually stopped a week before?

i had my 4th child five weeks ago. it was a quick traumatic labour (47 minutes) and i had postpartum haemorrhaging leaving my blood count at 81 the day after delivery. if it was 80 or lower i would of had to of had a blood transfusion. i have been taking iron tablets since i came home, but being so busy, some days i forget to take them. we had 4 weeks after the birth because my bleeding had stopped and i was feeling better and healed, the next day i took the morning after pill(definately dont want any more kids) and i know that pill can cause a little bleeding, but i virtually had completely stopped bleeding for two days then i had been under alot of stress and it started again quite heavily and bright red and sometimes with a tiny clot(very small ones). i just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before i make the trip to the doctor. thanks.

Why won't my parents leave me alone about my grades? Like sure I may not give my whole effort in school. I miss an ignment here and there, but overall I still make A's and B's so it's not like I'm a bad kid. They keep telling me about how "I don't give a **** about school." and "I know you have it in you so we are trying to push it out of you by grounding you." Which I think both of these claims are bull ****. First off I do give a **** about school, I just sometimes get in a mood where I refuse to do anything, including my homework. My 5 year old son has no respect for authority. Help?!?!?

I have two sons. My oldest is 5. I take him to a developmental pediatrician, a psycholigist, and an occupational therapist. When he was 3 he was given a psych test to see if he qualified for a gifted school in my area and his IQ was 131. His last IQ test he got a 155. He taught himself to read at 3 and now reads at a 5th grade level according to testing. Every specialist has ruled out Autism, PDD, Autism Spectrum disorder, and a few are on the fence with ADHD. His father and grandfather have ADD. I am an at-home mom. When he was 3, my son escaped his preschool so I withdrew him due to safety concerns. When he was 4, he attended a preschool a few days a week and within a month, he was lashing out at teachers, even kicking a few. When he started Kindergarten this Fall, he would flat out refuse to do the work in cl and he spent most of his day in the principal's office. The school then arranged to put him on a 508 plan, which would allow him to go to Special Ed part of the day. I also need to mention that my son has a lot of anxiety regarding very specific things. Trains and noises ociated with trains, the "happy birthday song", when someone says "cheese" as a photo is being taken. He goes into intense rages at hearing these things. He is a very outgoing, social boy. He has no respect for adults, teachers, or us a lot of the time. For discipline, we do time outs, removing things like toys, priveliages. At the moment, I am homeschooling him because I thought him being in special ed all day was not going to grow him as an individual. With most kids I have seen, once they get into a routine and learn what is expected of them, especially at school, they eventually comply. With my son, it gets worse, no matter what the environment. I am exhausted and feel as though I have no where to turn. No one knows what is going on with him. Nothing I've tried works. More background: His father and I have been married 8 years and live together happily. We do a lot as a family. Neither of us drink or smoke and we are somewhat religious, although we don't go to church. 4 preg. test with faint PINK lines in the result window...could all 4 be evap lines?

I took 4 preg. test. the same brand , 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the morning. the ones in the afternoon showed a faint pink line after the allowed time and the ones in the morning showed the faint line within 7~8 min. my period was due on the 28th and i had light brown~pink spotty discharge for about 4 days starting on the 16th. The test were done over a 2 day period. So could all 4 be evap lines or faint pos.? all of the lines are a pinkish~purple color ...thanks

I know absolutely nothing about wills. So, I have a good question. My parents told me before my grandma died that she was leaving a lot of $ to us kids. About 9 months b4 she died, my brother met a woman (a money-grubbing one) and had a baby with her. I usually always drink decaf coffee, but this morning i drank regular coffee since i was out of my decaf. We have Life Insurance through our company. One year and prior to his death, we went down to the company headquarters (Merchdise Mart) to do a change of beneficiary making each other our beneficiary. We submited the forms and that was it. After his death I found CTA had never made his changes. They made him my beneficiary but did not make me his beneficiary. I recently started using in-ear headphones. I noticed that on my CD player even songs played at the lowest volume level (1 out of 25) seemed really loud--I could hear the music softly when I held the earphones an inch from my ears. My Grandma is driving me crazy!! Please help!?

I live with my late-80s year old grandmother. I moved in with her in August of 2010 to save money by not living in the college dorms and to save on food costs. She has lived alone for quite some time as Grandpa died before I was born. However, she has always harped on me telling me I'm lazy, or she always wants to go places when I would rather stay home and relax after my cles. She always has me drive places for her, and when I'm gone just a few minutes over the time I say I'm going to be back, she goes crazy calling me and asking where I am, and if I don't answer (because I'm driving or taking a test or something) she tries to call other people to find out where I am or threatening to call police if I did not call back (yes, she actually threatened this while I was taking a very important college exam even though I told her the time I would be home, but she called half an hour before that time). She always complains to me about my parents and stuff they do and she really has a thing against my dad for some reason. My parents got me a ceramic space heater about two weeks ago because my room gets super cold (like having to wear a heavy coat and thick socks to even think about being warm) even when the thermostat is set to 77 degrees. She keeps the TV on really loud (like max) so I keep my door closed so I don't have to listen to her tv she has on constantly. And she doesn't like that and lets me know by yelling at me about it (and yells at me for lots of other reasons). She has recently been complaining non-stop about this space heater, and how she thinks it will cause her house to catch on fire, and she always comes in to check to see if I unplug it at night (which I do because I know how to handle a space heater). I am taking all the precautions to guard against fire, but she still does not trust me. She does not believe in privacy either and wants everything her way. Yes, it's her house, but she has to learn to live with people and know that I have my needs too. What can I do to make her stop disrespecting me and my property and how can I learn to tolerate this?

Denial can be completely normal. I think, particularly with illnesses such as CLL, that it doesn't really hit you until that first need for treatment. Someone could just be on watch & wait for a long time with something like CLL, and it doesn't feel real. I think she'll eventually come around to accept the diagnosis.

Okay, I am not afraid of needles at all. I've had blood taken tons of times. I do however understand having an irrational fear. I am petrified of driving. Can you imagine how difficult it is for me to get around? Yes people make fun of me too. The only things I can tell you to do to help with the fear are to calm down, think about how millions of people have this done every day and they turn out fine. Try to control your breathing in fact concentrate on controlling your breathing. Keep your head turned away and scrunch up your face really tight. Hopefully this helps.

How come at 17 my metabolism is so slow?

I am a 17 y/o girl, and am 5'4 and 140 lbs! last year, i weighed 127 lbs (but that was VERY hard to maintain and would constantly creep up to 132). Now i am pushing a f***cking size 8 (mind you i am a teenager)! I actually eat less than last year (just a little less b/c i am less hungry), but was put on some stupid lithium mood stablilizer medication. i went to a special doctor b/c my periods were irregular, and she said there is NO way to lose weight on this medication, unless you do INTENSE AEROBIC exercise. for 3 years, i have been complaining to my folks about my weight, and they say that i need to EXERCISE more. (their definition of exercising is sweating buckets and ping out). a few times a week, i go for 30 minute walks (where i live is very hilly). i used to lift weights, but now i feel there is no incentive. But the thing is, even b4 these meds, i would litterally have to STARVE myself to lose weight. Now i am afraid to starve myself b/c that slows down your metabolism. the irony of this is that i eat soo much healthier than these bimbo toothpicks at school. they eat bolognea sandwiches and 3 greasy chocolate chip cookies, meanwhile i am eating a salad w/ chickpeas and fat free macrobiotic salad dressing and an apple for a snack. i do not eat refined carbs or cheese for the most part. i NEVER drink soda/pop or even juice for pete's sake! ONLY water or pure green or chamomile tea. i always eat breakfast unlike these skinny b****tchs at school. i am pissed, b/c my $200 pinstrip juicy couture jeans that i love do not even fit over my thighs anymore. i ask my parents to f**cking stop buying/ baking cakes and pies, but my daddy said that it is a "weakness of character" to loose control when eating these things. he said i just need to develop dicipline (when we have these things in the house, i usally have one realatively large piece everyday until it is gone). i do crave sweets, but i only have one piece, while the skinny girls at school eat 3 f***cking cookies at lunch, chips for a snack along w/ their damn bolognea sandwiches on sh***ty WHITE BREAD! Dont get on with partners family.... help!?

I am from a middle cl family who's parents live in a lovely house, go on nice holiday's etc etc . My partners family are working cl and are bitter towards me and rude to my family. His family have spoilt a birthday party, weddings etc on my side by snide comments and plain rudeness. I have stood up for myself but then they all gang up on me and make me out to be awful. It have a little girl with my partner and they ensure that everytime we are at a family function she is taken away from me and my side of the family to be circulated around them. I have gone to endless trouble to accomodate his family but all I get is rudeness and it appears they are jealous. I dont know where to turn. I love my partner, but I dont see why i should put up with this. I stick up for myself and get shouted at by his family. I used to tollerate and be polite until it got out of hand. As for jer not eating i recomend taking her to the vet. After taking her to the vet if the dont tell uou much about the gas I use ginger tabs for my dog. Its a homeopathis method. I get them from my local health food store and they work better than what the vrt gave my dog. Ginger settles upset and gy stomachs.
