Does anyone know the name of that dog who waited for his master at the train station?

There was this really cool story about a dog who was so loyal to his master that the guy would take the dog to the train station and the dog would wait till the guy came back.The ending was that the master mysteriously died and even though he did the dog still waited at the station hoping hed come back.Does anyone know that dogs name????
