I,ve just bought a large fish tank which was used to keep piranha in,how do i disinfect it safely thanks?

when i get used fish tanks i clean them with bleach and water. bleach kills anything that might kill what ever you put in the tank. just make sure after you use bleach to rinse the tank with clean water to get all of the bleach out.
