Why do us humans like to destroy ourselves?

To keep this short, it is because humans are not naturally social creatures. Like wolves, our ancestors lived in small groups. Being modern, too, has eliminated our ability to do what is in our nature...we are over-crowded and do not have to fight for our very survival...so we do insane things to each other.
