Tongue Piercing!!!!!!!!!!?

i'm 18 years old and want to get my tongue pierced! i heard sometimes it can give people a lisp. I heard that for the first few days you talk different because its sore, but someone mentioned a permanant lisp. Do you only have a lisp after its healed if the stud inside is to big, to big as in making it difficult for you to move your mouth the same you would normally do?
