Best friend chose boyfriend over me?

My "best" friend's boyfriend and I got in a ridiculous argument. He is a controlling maniac (Im the 100th person who has observed this) now we no longer hang out. I know he doesnt allow her to call or see me. Its been 2 months since Ive seen her. I am very angry, not just with him but with her. Should I just forget about her? I want to write her off for not being loyal or having enough backbone to stand up to him or at least call me.
