Is it wrong?????????

Is it wrong to have high standards for yourself when dealing with a life long partner?? Im not talking about wanting a man or woman who is rich, give you what you want everyday, blah blah blah etc. And give your reason why you feel the way you do please???? No rudeness or i will just ignore the answer. Thanks
