Is it normal to bleed heavily five weeks after birth, even though it virtually stopped a week before?

i had my 4th child five weeks ago. it was a quick traumatic labour (47 minutes) and i had postpartum haemorrhaging leaving my blood count at 81 the day after delivery. if it was 80 or lower i would of had to of had a blood transfusion. i have been taking iron tablets since i came home, but being so busy, some days i forget to take them. we had 4 weeks after the birth because my bleeding had stopped and i was feeling better and healed, the next day i took the morning after pill(definately dont want any more kids) and i know that pill can cause a little bleeding, but i virtually had completely stopped bleeding for two days then i had been under alot of stress and it started again quite heavily and bright red and sometimes with a tiny clot(very small ones). i just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before i make the trip to the doctor. thanks.
