Is it possible for a baby to develop colic at 5 1/2 weeks?

Nothing I do is helping her right now. I've fed her for a very long time, burped her and changed her and she just cries, whether we hold her or put her down, I don't know what else to do for her and wish I could help. I hate to see her crying like this. She gets fussy at times, but never this bad. She's fed also.
